$300.00 U.S. Energy Tax Credit Now Available On Empyre Pro Models
The Empyre Pro Series is leading the way in new high efficiency clean burning technology. For you, this efficiency means savings all around. The Pro Series burns cordwood, a renewable resource and easily accessible in many areas; the Pro Series requires no splitting of wood. Although the firebox is smaller and requires less wood, it maintains burn times comparable to conventional outdoor furnaces at the same output, leaving you with less work and more time. Clean burning also means that the furnace does most of the work. Constant ash cleanup is obsolete with the Pro Series. Although ash is minimal, the Pro Series built-in cleaning portals make sweeping out fly ash from the fire chamber and flues a quick and simple task. The high heat of the gasification process also eliminates creosote buildup in the chimney and reduces moisture in the unit, preventing rust.
How it works

The Empyre Pro Series combines the simplicity and
safety of a conventional furnace with the savings and technology of a high
efficiency furnace to provide heat for your house, greenhouse, pool, shop, or
other buildings.
Heat from the Pro Series dual burn chamber is
transferred to the furnace’s built-in water reservoir through a series of flues.
This heated water is then channelled to your home’s heating system through
underground insulated pipes. The Pro Series` full length back door makes
plumbing simple.
In a house, the heated water connects directly to the
radiant or forced air heating system through a heat exchanger. Similarly, the
Pro Series heats all domestic hot water through a sidearm heat exchanger
installed on the hot water tank.
Inside the Pro Series
Digital Control
Panel
The Pro Series features a digital
control panel which allows the operator to regulate the furnace’s heat
output.
Float
Ball
By popular demand, the Pro Series
also features the proven Empyre float ball water level indicator.
Door
The Pro Series` pressure sealed locking door keeps the heat in the
furnace and prevents unauthorized access.
Exhaust
Curtain
The built-in exhaust exit and
smoke curtain allows the smoke to escape through the top flues instead of out
the door when loading the furnace.
Safety
The Pro Series meets CSA/UL safety standards and EPA Phase I and
Phase II emissions standards.
The Empyre Pro Series Hot Water Furnace is ideal for a variety of applications. It can be used for a single building or residence or piped to other areas. The diagrams below show just a few of the possible applications. Contact a dealer near you for information on setting up an Empyre to meet your needs.
Radiant In-Floor Heating
In-floor heating is the most efficient and comfortable heating option, as hot water flows through tubes in the floor of the house or building, providing constant heat.
Forced Air Systems
Heat can also be
transferred from the Empyre through your existing forced air system. A
water-to-air heat exchanger converts heat from the water into usable heat for
your forced air system.
Domestic Hot Water, Pools, and Hot Tubs
In
addition to heating houses and other buildings, the Empyre Hot Water Furnace
also provides heat for all domestic hot water. Generally a side arm heat
exchanger unit is installed to your hot water tank. Similarly, the Empyre can
provide heat for pools and hot tubs through a water-to-water heat exchanger
installed on the pool heater.
Other Buildings
Other applications, such as
greenhouses, shops, sheds, and other outbuildings use similar hookup methods,
and in most cases, a single Empyre unit can provide heat for several buildings.

EMPYRE ELITE INDOOR WOOD GASIFICATION FURNACE

$300.00 U.S. Energy Tax Credit Now Available On Empyre Elite 100
Empyre Elite indoor wood boilers deliver all the comfort and convenience of conventional furnaces while protecting the environment for the next generation to enjoy. Elite furnaces combine high efficiency heating technology and low emission smoke-free combustion with a readily accessible and renewable fuel to make wood the heating choice of the future
How it Works
Empyre Elite uses a process called wood gasification to produce highly efficient combustion in the furnace’s dual burn chambers. Wood in the firebox burns from the bottom up, drying the top layer of wood in the firebox and pushing gases and exhaust into the lower burn chamber. In the lower chamber, temperatures as high as 2000 degrees F burn off all the gases. The fire brick lining in both burn chambers absorbs the heat and maintains burn chamber temperatures for consistent combustion. This high temperature gasification significantly lowers emissions, prevents creosote buildup, and minimizes ash buildup in the furnace. After passing through the burn chamber, exhaust air is forced through multiple flues running through the water jacket, heating the water quickly and efficiently.
Simple Operation & Maintenance
Empyre Elite is a revolution in indoor wood heating systems. It operates best with large diameter logs a few inches shorter than the length of the firebox, so there is no need to split wood or cut it into short lengths. The wide loading door makes loading quick and simple. With new clean-burning technology, the Empyre Elite does most of the work - combustion and cleaning. When necessary, ash is easily swept from the lower burn chamber into the furnace width ash pan. The Elite’s Easy Flue design and the flue cleaning rod (included) makes sweeping out the flues a quick and simple process. The Empyre Elite is easy to integrate into practically any home’s existing heating system. It can be installed into a 5” or 6” chimney liner and connects to floor heat or existing duct work with an air to air heat exchanger.
Off the Grid
Give yourself ultimate flexibility with the Empyre Elite. Wood is a local, renewable, economical and easily accessible fuel in many regions, making it an ideal replacement for imported non-renewable fossil fuels. Quadri-Fuel Equipped with oil, gas, and electric backup options allow you to easily transition from one fuel to another based on cost and convenience. You can also set your furnace to switch from wood to a backup fuel when you plan to be away for a few days.
